As a vehicle service advisor, you will be helping customers make decisions about the care and maintenance of their vehicle. We are a long-time family-owned business in the community of Kelowna with a history dating back to 1978. To do this job you will require good English skills both written and verbal, keyboarding skills, a valid driver's license with at least three years of driving experience, and a clean driving record. Preference will be given to training an individual who understands basic automotive repair and parts terminology or prior experience in the automotive repair industry.
Duties will include interacting with shop repair staff, determining and understanding the required repairs, preparing estimates, sourcing parts, contacting customers to clearly communicate and prioritize repair needs, and gaining repair authorization. Road tests, basic vehicle checks, and examining and understanding what the customer is experiencing are essential components of this position. To accomplish these good clear communication skills are required.
